Inpatient Building Naming Opportunities

First Floor

Information Desk/Volunteer Desk - $100,000

The first stop for every patient and visitor, welcoming all to St. Joe’s.     

Patient Registration - $100,000

One of the first stops for all patients - a friendly, welcoming suite of offices and a dedicated waiting room.

Volunteer Work Room - $25,000

A work room and gathering spot for St. Joe’s volunteers.

Volunteer Office - $10,000

A private office for the Director of Volunteer Services to meet with current and prospective volunteers.

Elevators (2) - $50,000

Public elevators that take patients and visitors to the upper floors of the hospital.

Second Floor

Cafeteria - $500,000

The renovated Cafeteria reopened in 2017 with a bright and cheerful atmosphere that includes a variety of seating areas. Photographs and original art abound in the new design. The Cafeteria serves healthy and delicious food to employees, patients, and guests and serves as home base for catering services for meetings and events.

Third Floor

Emergency Department - $1,000,000

Newly renovated in 2014, our Emergency Department is as comfortable, private and convenient as possible for our patients and their families. Our average door to provider time is less than 30 minutes, and our expert team of caregivers includes Board-Certified physicians and nurses certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatrics Advanced Life Support, Sexual Assault Forensics, and trauma nursing.

  • Emergency Department Waiting Room $100,000. The first stop for most Emergency Department patients and families, providing a seating area monitored by our staff for the short wait before triage.
  • Emergency Department Treatment Rooms (17) $10,000. Modern, private spaces to see a provider.
  • Emergency Department Nurses Station $15,000.  A central work area for providers working in the Emergency Department.
  • Family Waiting Room $15,000. This newly renovated space is available for families to wait privately inside the Emergency Department, near the treatment rooms.

Third Floor Surgery Center - $250,000

Our Surgery Center was the first hospital-based day surgery facility in Maine. It features a caring staff, including its own dedicated anesthesia team. The modern surroundings of our surgical center include six spacious Operating Rooms and a 5-room Endoscopy Suite.

Fourth, Fifth & Sixth Patient Floors

St. Joe’s patient floors and rooms are nearly 60 years old and don’t match the evolving healthcare needs of our patients. Inpatient floors four, five and six within the renovated hospital will be named in perpetuity. Each floor will be home to specific patient care units, including cardiology, surgical, and palliative care. Phase 2 plans include redesigned private rooms that will accommodate family members, new technology and upgrades to infrastructure needs including bathrooms, sound and light. The Fourth Floor Elevator Lobby will publicly recognize the named gift with a dedicated plaque and family/donor photo and story.

Fourth, Fifth or Sixth Floor Nurses’ Station - $50,000

A central work area for providers working on the renovated inpatient floors.
