St. Joseph Gastroenterology offers a wide range of digestive disease diagnosis and care, including liver studies, ERCP, video capsule endoscopy, esophageal studies, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.  Our physicians are committed to provide the highest quality digestive disease health care in Northern and Eastern Maine.

Founded in 1971, the leading Gastroenterology practice in the region became part of the St. Joseph Healthcare family of group practices in 2008.  As an integral part of St. Joseph Healthcare, the seven providers of St. Joseph Gastroenterology continue to bring our region excellent gastrointestinal medical care from their offices in Suite 100, St. Joseph Hospital, 360 Broadway, as well as advanced screening endoscopic procedures in the Surgery Center at the Hospital.

Our Gastroenterology Providers

Joanne GodleyJoanne Godley, MD. Dr. Godley most recently served as a gastroenterologist with Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI, for two years. Her care focus areas include treating patients with acute and chronic GI disorders including GI bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disorders. Dr. Godley is also an experienced hepatologist and a graduate of Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut. She completed her fellowship in gastroenterology and hematology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Godley is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Norman Mallory PA-C. Norman is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Training program at Albany Medical College and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Since 2003 he has served patients through the Department of Veterans Affairs in Augusta and Bangor, Maine and in Kahului, Hawaii. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
