Meet Our Providers

Scott Deron, DO, FACC 
Dr. Deron holds board certifications in internal medicine, cardiology and lipidology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He earned his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Later he completed two Cardiology Fellowships at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and has participated in numerous research studies in Cardiology.

Jims Jean-Jacques, DO, FACC
Dr. Jean-Jacques received his DO degree at The University of Medicine and Dentistry, Stratford, NJ. He completed his internship at Kennedy University Hospital, also in Stratford, NJ. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and served a Cardiovascular fellowship at Garden City Hospital, Garden City, MI. He also served a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine.

Amina Qazi, D.O.Amina Qazi, DO, FACC
An academic star at an early age, by 16, Dr. Qazi graduated from high school in Portland and was attending college close to home at the University of Southern Maine (USM). After completing her graduate studies in Applied Immunology at USM, she attended the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Connecticut Internal Medicine and her cardiovascular disease fellowship at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Dr. Qazi is a member of the Maine Medical Association’s Board of Directors and its Public Health Committee. She is also a former governor of the Maine Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
