St. Joseph Orthopedics

Staffed by Dr. Betsy Nolan, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treatment of the shoulder and elbow, St. Joseph Orthopedics offers several types of procedures and exams, including:

  • Shoulder arthroscopy
  • Shoulder replacement
  • Treatment of rotator cuff tears
  • Treatment of shoulder instability
  • Sports injuries of the shoulder or elbow

Also offered: reverse shoulder arthroplasty, a procedure particularly useful for patients without a functioning rotator cuff who have difficulty raising their arms above their heads.

Surgery Center
at St. Joseph Hospital with its caring staff, including its own dedicated anesthesia team.

 

Meet the Surgeon

Betsy Nolan MD
Dr. Nolan earned her MD at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.  She completed her postgraduate training in Orthopedics at the University of Southern California. She served shoulder and elbow fellowships at the University of Switzerland, Zurich, and at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.
