Our Occupational Medicine Providers
Craig Curtis , MD, FACOEM, FAAFP Medical Director and MRO for St. Joseph WorkWell, is a board-certified physician specializing in occupational medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational Environmental Medicine. He has been a regular presenter and lecturer for the Maine Safety Council, and has consulted for and advised many workers compensation insurance companies, self insured trusts and individual corporations.
Linda Willard FNP has extensive occupational health clinical experience. She has the range of both clinical and administrative skills, Her strengths include injury treatment, case management, education and training, and has a though understanding of the value of timely and insightful communication.
Beverly Young RN, COHN-S is St. Joseph WorkWell’s Director of Occupational Medicine. She is a certified occupational health nurse specialist and has extensive experience with ergonomic assessment, workers’ compensation case management, and demonstrates a truly insightful knowledge of corporate needs.
Eric Semmel PAC has extensive background in emergency medicine and occupational medicine. He is trained to perform cardiac treadmill stress testing. He has special interest in the orthopedic aspects of patient care. Eric lectures at Husson University’s Nurse Practitioner program on X-Ray interpretation, and Wound Management and Repair.
Deborah Higgins ANP/MSN/CWCN is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and through the WOCN as a wound consultant. Clinical experience includes family practice, internal medicine, wound management and occupational medicine. She has presented both nationally and internationally on wound management. Clinical interests include occupational health, health promotion, wound management and genomic medicine.
