The department provides a wide array of diagnostic testing for both inpatients and outpatients, through standard X-ray film studies, as well as interventional radiology, digital fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed radiography, Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and MRI-guided breast biopsy.

The department is linked to a regional electronic image sharing network called PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System). PACS allows doctors to view, store and share digital radiology images of their patients, enhancing patent care by making it easier for doctors to read and diagnose medical images.
