Diabetes Support Group
The St. Joseph Diabetes and Nutrition Center sponsors a free diabetes support group. The group meets the first Wednesday of March, April, May, September, October and November from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Willette Conference Center, Building 1, St. Joseph Healthcare Park, 900 Broadway in Bangor.
Meetings are facilitated by a Certified Diabetes Educator. Guest speaker at the March Meeting will be Marian Benner MD of the St. Joseph Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center. She will speak about diabetic ulcers and skin care.
Group members share tips on diabetes management. The public is invited. For more information, contact St. Joseph Healthcare’s Diabetes and Nutrition Center at 907-1836.

Benefit Book Sale
A wide variety of new books, music and gifts for all ages will be on sale at bargain prices at St. Joseph Hospital on Broadway. Today's sale will be from 11 am to 4 pm in the Chapman Conference Room on the Second Floor.
Proceeds will benefit St. Joseph Healthcare. The sale continues the following day.

The St. Joseph Healthcare benefit Book Sale continues in the Strauss Conference Room, Second Floor, St. Joseph Hospital, from 7 am to 2 p.m.

Senior Wise
Area seniors meet, eat and greet at this monthly "dinner theater" which includes an full course meal from appetizer to dessert in the St. Joseph Hospital Cafeteria for only $6. This is followed by an educational presentation by a health expert.
The group meets the second Wednesday of every month beginning at 4:30 p.m. For more information on joining the Senior Wise Group, call 907-1720.
