Tourney Proceeds to Benefit
Patient Nutrition Services

St. Joseph Hospital’s Nutrition Services Department provides patients with their prescribed dietary needs as well as a comfortable and customized dining experience. The proceeds of this year's Tournament will be help renovate the entire food service system, particularly the tray line. When it was initially installed, the tray line was the first of its kind. While the equipment has been a fundamental component of Nutrition Services for almost 50 years, advances in technology have surpassed the energy efficiency and effectiveness of the original model.

"We will be able to really get to know our patients and give our employees a greater sense of job satisfaction as they see the difference they make every day."

           - Krista Connor, Nutrition Manager

This year’s tournament proceeds will also be used to introduce a new patient catering program, which will “continue to carry out the Mission of the Felician Sisters by allowing us to provide a more personal touch to our patients through their meal service,” says Krista Connor, Clinical Nutrition Manager. “We will be able to really get to know our patients and give our employees a greater sense of job satisfaction as they will be able to see the difference that they make every day.” As always, St. Joseph Healthcare takes pride in demonstrating compassion, competence, and commitment to community in all aspects of patient care.
