St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary
Since 1950, the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary has helped promote and sustain the mission of St. Joseph Hospital through a variety of community events and fundraisers.
The Auxiliary manages Helen’s – the Hospital gift shop, whose proceeds benefit St. Joseph Hospital. In addition, the Auxiliary organizes several annual fundraising events for the Hospital, including an October Fashion Show - one of the highlights of Bangor's fall social season - and its festive pre-Holiday Lights of Remembrance event, held in December at the Hospital entrance. The Auxiliary also sponsors several sales throughout the year including a semiannual book sale and leather goods sale. Check our Calendar of Events page to find out about coming events.
We Invite You to Join our Dynamic Organization!
The Auxiliary always welcomes new members! This is a wonderful opportunity to provide community service and meet new friends. The Auxiliary provides three different membership levels: active members, sustaining members and benefactors.
- Active members pay annual dues of $10, and may wish to participate in active service programs and functions of the Auxiliary.
- Sustaining members pay annual dues of $25 to support the aims of the Auxiliary, and may wish to engage in active participation in Auxiliary functions or programs.
- Benefactors pay a lifetime fee of $100. Benefactors are recognized with a plaque placed in a prominent location within the hospital. They may enjoy the same membership privileges as an active or sustaining member.
